D. Davidson--a visitor looking for a Club?!

ROTARY MINUTE-- Kent spoke about the Foundation. A brief update regarding the incoming GSE team and he talked about the Ambassadorial Scholarship. He asked members to consider upping their Foundation giving.

State of Our City meeting on Weds. Things are going VERY WELL. We should have more money to give away soon.

Board meeting at Greg ’s Thursday.

The District decided not to peruse hosting the RI Convention in 2010.

District Conference is in Vail April 25-27. Please join in celebrating Jennifer ’s year.

Frank and Marc celebrated Appliance World ’s matching our $1000.00 to purchase a gas range for Sox Place. Nice job you two!!

Kent gave us dates for the incoming GSE team. May 2-6 with us hosting the Highlands Ranch Club in a joint meeting on May 6. He will have a sign-up sheet for drivers next week.

Travel gifts brought back from Rockport, TX. by Randy. We haven ’t had many gifts, keep them coming please.

  • Frank gave money thanking Marc for his work on the gas range and his son ’s progress with his firefighting in CA and birthday.
  • Randy gave for being back after his trip to TX.

  • Jennifer gave $10 for Randy ’s lift gate. It helped move Robert ’s BA safe.

Program

John Brackney, president of the South Metro Chamber of Commerce.

He spoke on three major topics: Leadership, Technology and the Ballot Issues in November.

John was a very engaging speaker and we wish you had all been here to listen.

Membership and Attendance are the only two things that keep this Club from attaining the recognition we deserve from District and RI.


Marbles

Our favorite attorney, the Hopester had has ticket drawn and will allow the pot of $872.00 to grow, as he pulled a clear marble.
