Centennial Rotary General Meeting

Hank rang the bell promptly at 7:30

Guests--Jeannie Henschen, Dean Elliott (Tom Cycota) and Betsy and Megan Carter (Randy’s daughter and granddaughter)

Hank mentioned that Tom’s company had recently been named "best company," at a recent ceremony in Centennial. Tom said they edged out the corner carwash.


Rotary Minute

Kent shared info about Rotary International’s Action groups. These are similar to the fellowship groups, but based on service projects.

Marc reminded all of this Friday morning’s Foundation meeting at 7 here at Embassy Suites.

There are additional seats available for the State of our State function with Governor Bill Ritter.

Greg stated that the tentative date for our Holiday party is 12/14 at Heritage Eagle Bend.


Happy Bucks

Frank collected cash from the following:

  • Barb because she was scooting to learn about 1048.
  • Pete for his grandson’s t-shirt with a catch phrase.
  • $3 from Randy for his daughter, granddaughter and his mother-in-law’s recent 100th birthday party in AZ.
  • Jeannie for getting to come to a meeting. What’s up with that Hank?
  • Jenn came up with $2, one for missing and another for Ohio State winning.
  • Roxy for recently obtained knowledge that will allow her to video tape some cooking demos for her daughter.
  • Tom C as he enjoyed joining us again.
  • Hank for joining Kent on a recent trip to Ft. Collins’ breweries.

Paul Harris Fellows

Charlie gave a great presentation as three members received PHF awards. Tom Buck received a multiple award. Barb accepted a PHF for her daughter. Randy escorted his daughter and granddaughter to the front as Megan, two years old, received her PHF.
