President Hank was spot on with bell-ringing at 7:30!!

Visitors--Both guests of Jacque--Richard Lewis (former Rotarian) and Ron Weidmann (City Councilman.

Rotary Minute--Kent gave us dates for Young RYLA (7th graders 7/26-7/31 in Larkspur) and RYLA (7/12-17 in Estes Park) Several members said they have potential candidates for Young RYLA.


Announcements

Hank thanked those who participated in last Thursday’s Fireside.

Tom Buck passed around a sign-up sheet for appetizers for the social at their home on 2/13.

John got his Blue Badge. Well done!!

Hank reported on last week’s Presidents-Advance, a half-way through your Rotary year hosted by DG Cantrell. He attended with Mary Alice and found out that we have qualified for both the President’s Citation and a District Governor award. WOW.

Marc announced the newest scholarship awardee, Sarah Danser from Arapahoe Community College. She graduated from Douglas Co. HS last year. Her suggestion for a community service project is a very doable Arbor Day tree planting.

Birthdays this week, Cathy, Hank and today’s is Jacque’s!!!!!!!!!!!

Randy shared Care Committee info, along with another Fireside cudo, a report on Katherine’s wonderful grand opening at COSH last Friday evening and a reminder about the new cards created by Cottrell Printing.

Hank thanked Jacque again for hosting last week’s meeting at Centennial ’s offices.

Pete reported that Rebuilding America wants us back. They have upped their minimum participation level to 5 grand. Many hands went up as to the desire to repeat, so Pete and others will look into partnering with another Club and looking for grant money. Andres said the Club we worked with in Mexico is looking to reciprocate.

Laurie passed around thank you cards from Knapp Elementary. They were very appreciative of the journal program we did there.

BY THE WAY, WE HAD GREAT ATTENDANCE TODAY!! LET’S KEEP IT UP!!!!

Marc announced the Presidential question--How many other lefties in the White House other than Obama? No right guesses--8.

  • Jennifer gave $2--1 for a great Super Bowl, MVP is from OSU. 1 to stimulate the economy.
  • Kent for the Fireside.
  • Roxy gave $3. One for daughter in France, 1 for Serena’s Aussie Open win and one for the visitors.
  • Paul duplicated the $3. One for Cathy being at meeting, one for Jacque’s hosting last week and one for scooting.
  • Randy gave $2, one for Cathy and one for Kent "playing" hurt at the Fireside last week. He felt like &%##@*&&%@!
  • Cathy in thanks for all the Club has done for her.
  • Mary Alice gave a buck for being proud of Club and Hank for standing up at last week’s President Advance for awards.
  • Andres for the Fireside.
  • Tom gave $2, one for Cathy and one for Hank’s pharmaceutical knowledge.
  • Greg for last week’s meeting at City offices.
  • Hank gave several, $1 for Cathy and $1 for guests.

He has identified 4 different "styles" of personalities. C-Style is Compliant Analytical. D-Style is Driver. S-Style is Steady and I-Style are Influencers. Steady style equals 45% of the population. Influencers make up 28%, Drivers 18% and Compliant Analytical equals 8 %.
